Gantry shipping containers are containers designed to be used as gantry systems. These containers have a gantry system inside of them which helps in lifting and unloading heaving equipment in and out of the shipping containers.

Our Gantry Containers are ready to order, built to your needs. But you may be thinking what is this Gantry System built into this container and how can it help me? The gantry system is comparable to an overhead crane which is fixed to the roof of the container, designed for multi-axis operation with an overhead bridge. The arm of the crane can extend outside of the container to pick up heavy items. The block and tackle pulley can lift items up and lower them once the gantry arm has been pulled back into the container and maneuvered to the desired position. This can all be operated by one person easily as the gantry can safely lift anything up to 1 tonne in weight. Heavy items can be delivered next to the Gantry Container ready for loading, no need for an onsite forklift.

We can also convert these Gantry Containers into Dangerous Goods Units for storing Class 3 Dangerous Goods (Flammable Liquids). The Gantry Crane is particularly handy in lifting large barrels, and with the inclusion of our drum racks, can be lifted and stored with ease.
